Hello

Hi my name is Sarah Milovich! I was Born and raised in the small town of Ely MN. I grew up with Mom, Dad and I am the second oldest of eight siblings. My big family shaped my silly and kind personality. I know in my heart my family is my absolute first inspiration towards working in the child care field. 

 

I decided to attend college to study Child Development. It was here I learned just how important development is in the first five years of life. It was this realization that confirmed I wanted to work with young children. 

 

Upon graduating college, I moved to the Twin Cities and started working in the child care field. My first position was a nanny for an infant of six weeks. I enjoyed putting everything I learned in school into practice.

After over a year I decided it was necessary for me to gain some experience working at a child care center. I started my new position as lead preschool/toddler teacher at Creative Kids Academy. By this point in life I was fortunate to work with all age groups.

Later on, I felt I needed the flexibility to step back and focus on my dreams. I met a great family and returned to a nanny position. I looked after three children from infancy through school age. It was a neat opportunity to see child care from the perspective of inside the family home. 

 

My husband’s name is Nick. He is a great guy and very supportive of my dream. We then purchased a house specifically designed to accommodate child care. I decided now is the perfect time to start my Family Child Care. I may not have every answer surrounding a Child Care business just yet, but I am willing to grow and excited to learn. One thing I do have is the passion to make this dream come true and I am so excited to meet the families I will care for!
