Experience Summary

In the last ten years working in the Child Care field I have gained vast experience and knowledge. Every position and class had taught me valuable lessons I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Schooling provided me a solid foundation. My nanny positions have taught me of the importance of family. My teaching position taught me leader ship, knowledge of licensing and classroom management.

Snowy Sunset

Family

I grew up in a household with my Mother, Father and a total of eight siblings. I was second oldest of the eight. I naturally took the roll of big sister and I looked after my younger siblings. Throughout high school I nannied and watched for multiple families. My family is my big inspiration. I love them all too pieces and want the best for each child in my family just as I want the best for each child in my care.

In the Classroom

Child Development Degree

Studying Child Development built a strong foundation for working in the Child Care field. I learned that the most important and critical years of life are birth to five.

I also participated in hand on internships in two different daycares. We were required to spend 80 hours in the field. I loved the daycares I visited and I began to envision my dream as a family child care provider.
